07月16日讯 据《费城问询报》记者Mike Sielski报道，科比的父亲乔-布莱恩特去世，享年69岁。

据报道，乔-布莱恩特此前饱受中风困扰，他在自己的儿子科比和孙女Gigi去世四年半后，离开了人世。

乔-布莱恩特（Joe Bryant），1954年10月19日出生于美国宾夕法尼亚州费城，为前美国职业篮球运动员，司职大前锋/中锋，是NBA洛杉矶湖人队名宿科比-布莱恩特的父亲。

1975年NBA选秀，乔-布莱恩特于第一轮第14位被金州勇士队选中，随后立即被交易至费城76人队，曾协助76人队在1977年杀进NBA总决赛，可惜最终败于波特兰开拓者队。在17年的职业生涯中，他曾效力于费城76人队、圣迭戈快船队、休斯敦火箭队以及一些海外球队。

1992年，乔-布莱恩特宣布退役。退役后的他于2005年8月22日-2007年4月4日期间执教WNBA洛杉矶火花队，然后又执教意大利Solsonica Rieti俱乐部。
