塔图姆表示对此次巴黎奥运会自己的角色感到失望，但这不会影响到未来是否为美国队出战。

他说：“这是一次很艰难的场上经历，但我不会意气用事。如果你们现在问我2028年打不打，那是4年以后的事情了，我得考虑一下。所以我不会根据这次经历或者我个人的感受做出任何决定。”
